Mr. Sunday Olumorin - MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO
Mr. Sunday Olumorin, Ag. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc – one of Nigeria’s leading national Primary Mortgage Institutions – is a seasoned and consummate banker, mortgage and real estate development expert, and corporate strategist with over 20 years cognate experience in commercial and mortgage banking. He joined ITMB Plc on 21st March 2005.
Unarguably the most experienced and versatile management staff in ITMB Plc whose wealth of experience has contributed significantly to the growth and transformation of the bank, Mr. Olumorin has headed many strategic departments and units in the bank, including Business Development; Financial Control, Inspection, and Internal Control.
Mr. Olumorin holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ilorin. He has attended several specialized training and workshops on Credit, Banking Operations, Management, Leadership, and Strategy in leading consulting firms in Nigeria, including H. Pierson Associate Limited, and Agusto & Co. Limited, among others. Also, he has attended several international seminars and workshops on Mortgage Financing in the United Kingdom and the United States of America, including the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. He is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School.
Mr. Abiodun Akanbi - General Manager - Group Head Strategy & Risk Management
Mr. Akanbi is multi-disciplinary finance professional. He has over 18 years of a very unique working career spanning Banking Operations, Credit, Asset Management, Securities Trading, Financial Advisory, Mortgage Finance, and Public Sector Finance. He started his career at UBA PLC and later moved to Broad Bank Limited (now part of Union Bank PLC). In 2006, Mr. Akanbi joined APT Securities and Funds Limited as Deputy Head, Capital Market, and later moved to Lead Capital Plc as a Senior Associate. Mr. Akanbi has worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Northbridge Investment and Trust Limited. He was also the Team Leader of the Research and Market Intelligence Unit at Debt Management Office (DMO) before joining ITMB PLC in 2012.
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics from Bayero University Kano, and Masters in Banking and Finance (MBF) and MBA respectively, from the same University. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS); Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA); Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), United Kingdom, Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (CIBN) where he won the prize as the best candidate in International Trade and Finance and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). Also, he is an Authorized Dealing Clerk at the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Mrs. Ngozi Chukwu - Group Head Business Development
Mrs. Nogozi Chukwu is a seasoned Business Development Manager with 15 years of professional experience. She drives the overall business strategy for the Bank.
She has a wealth of experience in product development, business strategy, marketing, sales, and organizational transformation.
Ngozi joined the Bank in 2009 as a business development executive. Prior to joining the Bank; she worked briefly as an advert executive with Nigerian News World Magazine.
Within a few years of her joining, she stood out in terms of consistent strategic marketing, which improved the Bank’s bottom line. She rose through the rank to become the Group of Business Development.
Ngozi interpreted the Bank’s vision, which led to innovative steps to position the Bank as a leading profit-oriented national primary mortgage in Nigeria. Her dynamic style of leadership and quick decision skills make her exemplary.
She has attended several specialized trainings, including the International Housing Finance Systems (MBAN—Canada), Behavioral Intelligence Workshop, Credit and Risk Management in the Mortgage Banking Sub-Sector, among others.
Ngozi is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management.
Ngozi Chukwu holds an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a B. Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Mr. Bukola Afariogun - Chief Financial Officer
Bukola Afariogun is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc (ITMB), with accountability for the finance functions which include Treasury, Financial Control, and Investment strategy. He joined ITMB in 2021 from HASAL Bank Nigeria where he was the Chief Financial Officer of the Bank. Bukola has over 17 years of professional experience spanning audit, risk management, business development, accounting, and finance, during which he advised/worked for local and multinational institutions.
Bukola started his career as a Finance officer in Compuleb Nigeria Ltd, a subsidiary of BoulosNigeria, thereafter he joined First Bank Nigeria as a Service Executive in Finance, Treasury, and Third-party payment (CPC Orile-Iganmu). From First Bank Nigeria, he joined FINCA Impact Finance as a Corporate Treasury Officer, managing the treasury operation of east and west Africa in collaboration with Group Head Treasury in Washington, D.C . Bukola took part in fundraising with many local and International Investment Banks.
As a Chartered Accountant with decade-plus years of experience in Accounting, Audit, Corporate Finance, Treasury Management, and Financial Management. He has worked closely in the last 10 years with the C suite management team and directors, providing information and advice that are tailored towards rejuvenating the organization to be financially sustainable. As a member of ALCO, he has handled deals and negotiations with banks, the federal government, and investors locally and internationally.
Bukola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom and is a foreign-trained Chartered accountant certified by ACCA. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (MCIB). Bukola is currently running an MSC-Finance &Accounting at the University of London.
Mr. Chinenye Izuoma Orji - Head of Legal & Corporate Services
Mr. Chinenye is a multi-dimensional, highly trained legal professional with reputable years of service to his credit. He has remarkable work experience spanning 15 years. He is a lawyer and has tremendously gained a great wealth of experience and professionalism, which actively comes to play and significantly contributes in input as the current Head (Legal $ Corporate Services Department) at Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc, Garki, Abuja.
He is responsible for effective management of day-to-day legal requirements of the bank, and also provides written/verbal legal advice to all departments, business units and subsidiaries. He is the Bank’s representative and displays expertise in tribunal, court trials, settlement negotiations or appeals whenever necessary, amidst diverse other functions; including supervision of strict adherence to the Bank’s policies, standards, procedures and contractual obligations.
He began his career as the Assistant lecturer- (Commercial Law Department) National Youth Service Corps, at the College of Legal & Islamic studies, Jigawa state, Nigeria from (2005-2006). An Associate at Coker & Adeluola, Lagos-Nigeria (2008- 2009). Associate Counsel at M.R. Ahmed & Associates Lagos-Nigeria (2009- 2012). Mr Chinenye worked as a Senior Associate at Eyimofe Atake SAN & CO. (Barristers & Solictors), between 2012- 2014. He proceeded to Keystone Bank Ltd. Victoria Island, Lagos State (Counsel, Dispute Management/Company Secretarial & Legal Services Division) between 2014-2018. He became the Legal Counsel, Remedial Management Group) Ecobank, from (2018- 2021).
Mr. Chinenye attended the University of Ibadan, Oyo state, where he got a B.Sc Law (LL.B). He holds a BL from the Nigerian Law school, FCT-Abuja. He proceeded to the University of Lagos where he gained MSc. Masters in Law (LL.M). He is a Member, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Member, International Bar Association (IBA). A Graduand member- Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrations of Nigeria (ICSAN). He is also a Member, Young International Arbitration Group- London Court of Arbitration (YIAG-LCIA).
