Mr. Chinenye Orji is a multi-dimensional, highly trained legal professional with reputable years of service to his credit. He has remarkable work experience spanning 15 years. He is a lawyer and has tremendously gained a great wealth of experience and professionalism, which actively comes to play and significantly contributes in input as the current Head (Legal $ Corporate Services Department) at Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc, Garki, Abuja.
He is responsible for effective management of day-to-day legal requirements of the bank, and also provides written/verbal legal advice to all departments, business units and subsidiaries. He is the Bank’s representative and displays expertise in tribunal, court trials, settlement negotiations or appeals whenever necessary, amidst diverse other functions; including supervision of strict adherence to the Bank’s policies, standards, procedures and contractual obligations.
He began his career as the Assistant lecturer- (Commercial Law Department) National Youth Service Corps, at the College of Legal & Islamic studies, Jigawa state, Nigeria from (2005-2006). An Associate at Coker & Adeluola, Lagos-Nigeria (2008- 2009). Associate Counsel at M.R. Ahmed & Associates Lagos-Nigeria (2009- 2012). Mr Chinenye worked as a Senior Associate at Eyimofe Atake SAN & CO. (Barristers & Solictors), between 2012- 2014. He proceeded to Keystone Bank Ltd. Victoria Island, Lagos State (Counsel, Dispute Management/Company Secretarial & Legal Services Division) between 2014-2018. He became the Legal Counsel, Remedial Management Group) Ecobank, from (2018- 2021).
Mr. Chinenye attended the University of Ibadan, Oyo state, where he got a B.Sc Law (LL.B). He holds a BL from the Nigerian Law school, FCT-Abuja. He proceeded to the University of Lagos where he gained MSc. Masters in Law (LL.M). He is a Member, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Member, International Bar Association (IBA). A Graduand member- Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrations of Nigeria (ICSAN). He is also a Member, Young International Arbitration Group- London Court of Arbitration (YIAG-LCIA).
