Group Head, Strategy and Risk Management
Mr. Egbewale Oyetunde is the Group Head, Strategy and Risk Management at Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank PLC. He brings over two decades of extensive experience across core banking operations, credit administration, loan management, enterprise risk management, and strategic leadership.
He holds a First Class Honours degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University (formerly Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye), as well as an MBA in Finance and a Master’s in Information Technology (MIT) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
Mr. Oyetunde began his career as a Programmer at Systemspec before transitioning into banking with City Express Bank as a Credit Administration Officer. Over the years, he has held key leadership roles at Trust Bank of Africa, Sterling Bank, Intercontinental Bank, Zenith Bank, and United Bank for Africa (UBA), where he served in risk management and credit analysis capacities across Nigeria and other African markets. Notably, he was appointed Chief Risk Officer at UBA Republic of Benin (formerly Continental Bank Benin) and later oversaw recovery operations across UBA’s 18 African subsidiaries.
In 2015, he assumed the role of Managing Director at Greater Tomorrow Empowerment Network, a microfinance institution, where he successfully rebranded and expanded the organization from a single-branch operation to 14 branches across four states within 18 months.
Mr. Oyetunde has participated in several professional development programs both locally and internationally. He is recognized as a dynamic leader with proven expertise in risk management, credit systems, and strategic transformation within the financial services sector.
